Worksheets and quizzes

6
What if I want a worksheet you don't have?
Ask for it. The one-minute form at mandumagpi.com.au/request-worksheet (also linked at the bottom of every page) takes the year and course, the level and the topics you need. We read every request and use them to decide what to write next, and if you leave an email we will tell you when it is up.
What do Easy, Medium and Hard mean?
Easy is Foundation: the key skills, done properly. Medium is Core: the whole syllabus for the topic at exam standard. Hard is Mastery: the toughest questions you'll see in a test. Not sure? Start with Medium.
What is the difference between a worksheet and a quiz?
A quiz is about ten multiple-choice questions, marked by the site the moment you answer, with the working shown either way. It takes about ten minutes and tells you what is shaky. A worksheet is a full set of questions set out like an HSC paper, with marking guidelines and fully worked solutions. That is where the fixing happens.
Are the quizzes marked by a person?
No. Quizzes are multiple choice and marked automatically. Worksheets come with marking guidelines and full solutions so you can mark your own work, and what the site records is what the student ticks off themselves. Your dashboard says so wherever it shows a number.
How do I do a worksheet?
Worksheets are read on screen, on a laptop, tablet or phone, and you can zoom in on any page. Write your answers on paper: the free writing booklet on the worksheets page is set out like an HSC answer booklet and prints on A4.
Do the sheets match the current syllabus?
They are written against the NESA 2024 syllabus, and each sheet is tagged with the course and topic it belongs to.

Accounts and safety

Can my child message anyone through the site?
No, and that is deliberate. There is no chat and no inbox anywhere on this site, and anything we need to arrange goes through the parent's email, so an adult sees every message.
My child is under 15. Can they have an account?
Yes, but it does nothing until a parent or guardian agrees by email. We email you a link explaining exactly what you would be agreeing to, and until you click it the account cannot be used at all.
Who can see my child's results?
Your child and you, once your guardian link is verified. There are no public profiles, no class rankings and no way to search for a student. The one exception is friends, which you control: see the next question.
What are friends, and can I turn them off?
Friends let students race each other on quizzes. Two students become friends only when one gives the other a friend code and both agree. A friend sees your child's username, avatar and quiz scores, never their name, school, year or worksheets, and there is nowhere to type a message. For a child under 15, friends are off until you switch them on from your own account, and you can switch them off again at any time. A student aged 15 or over chooses for themselves.
Can a student buy something themselves?
Yes, from age 13. A student under 13 is asked to get a parent or guardian, and a parent can always pay for their child instead.

Paying

3
How is the library billed?
By the term (three months) or by the year. My Year, which opens your own year, is $59 a term or $179 a year. My Year Plus, your year and the year above, is $79 a term or $249 a year. The Whole Library, Years 7 to 12, is $129 a term or $399 a year. Payment is by card through Stripe, and we never see or store your card details. Cancel from your dashboard at any time.
What happens to my worksheets if I stop paying?
Anything bought on its own is yours for good. Library access ends when the term or year you have paid for ends.
Do you offer a discount for families who need one?
Yes. Email us and we will send a discount code. It is applied at checkout and it is nobody else's business.

Plans and prices

7
What happens if I cancel a term plan?
Cancel from your dashboard (Plan → Card, receipts or cancel). Your plan stays open until the end of the term you have already paid for (nothing is cut off mid-term) and you are not charged again. After that, the plan's worksheets lock again. Any worksheet you bought on its own stays in your account for good.
What do My Year and My Year Plus open, exactly?
My Year opens every worksheet for your own school year. My Year Plus adds the year above, so a Year 9 student gets Years 9 and 10. Year 12 has no year above, so My Year Plus for Year 12 opens Years 11 and 12. Both move up a year with you each January, so you never have to change them.
I have changed year. How do I move my plan?
It moves up by itself every January. If you change year at any other time, email a photo of your student ID card to id@mandumagpi.com.au from the address on your account and we will move the plan for you. We check the year, make the change and delete the photo.
What if I want other years as well?
My Year Plus adds the year above yours; Whole Library opens every year from 7 to 12. You can upgrade from your dashboard at any time. It starts straight away and you pay only the difference for the time left in your current term or year.
Can I move down a plan, or change how often I pay?
Yes, from your dashboard. Moving down a plan starts straight away; the difference is not refunded to your card but becomes credit that comes off your next bills. Changing between paying per term and paying yearly happens when the term or year you have already paid for ends, and you can undo it before then.
Can two children share one plan?
No. Every plan is per student. Each child needs their own account and their own plan. A student account can be signed in on one device at a time, so signing in on a new phone or laptop signs the old one out.
Is GST included in these prices?
There is no GST on these prices. ManduMagpi is a sole trader below the ATO's $75,000 registration threshold and is not registered for GST, so none is charged and none appears on your receipt. The price you see is the price you pay. If that changes we will say so before it does.
